This was a "two-fer" trip. First to Canada to shoot a unit at Bruce A. Personnel included Kirt Lenz, Scott Hochmuth and moi. We arrived in Toronto in a snowstorm. Drove a couple hours to the northwest to a quaint town on Lake Huron. I remember going out for a stroll one evening to watch the ice flows (not much flowing...pretty well solid!) and put on everything I could manage. I was still frozen. It was a short walk. That was the coldest I've ever been. Dates of the Canada shoot were from 1/25/91 - 2/4/91. Google map link to Kincardine.

After wrapping things up in Canada we drove to Palisades Nuclear Plant and stayed in scenic Benton Harbor, Michigan. Trip personnel: Kirt ditched us and Jim Mattern met up with us. Scott was still in attendance. Our "manguide" at Palisades was nicknamed the "Hammer". He was trying to convince us of how he loved lard sandwiches. Palisades trip dates: 2/8/91 - 2/13/91.
